Gary Trybus (1949 - 2021)

Born May 31, 1949 to John and Betty Trybus, Gary was one of 5 boys, and a native of Michigan. Following his graduation from Marlette Highschool in 1968, Gary went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Marine Corp. Following the completion of his service, Gary alongside his father, would later open several Mark V Men's Clothing retail stores, which sold his now-defunct clothing brand, Raspini.

The stores quickly expanded to seven locations in Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Then in 1972, both he and his brother, Jack, had a grand vision to create a different kind of apparel company. One that would be the start of a decades long multi-generational clothing company with worldwide ties.

As the company grew, Gary and Jack would go on to open a joint venture factory in Inner Mongolia, China in 1993 named, Inner Mongolia Imperial Garment Co., Ltd., and in 1998, they formed Mongolia Magic Suit Co., Ltd. in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Several years later, in 2017, they would then begin manufacturing in Ethiopia.

Gary's love for exceptional quality tailored clothing would be the catalyst to many great moments in time, both in business and in his personal life.

He was a world traveler, who embraced people of different cultures with great kindness, a devoted husband to his wife, Joyce, and father of twins, Addison and Austin.

His legacy and light continue to shine bright at Trybus Group.
